Filed our taxes on Feb.27th and a week later let them know that the lady that helped file our tax had put my SS# wrong. They said it was not an issue and it was correct in the computer. I received a letter from the IRS today.. It stated that someone filed taxes trying to use my name & that I need to verify who I am in order to correct it. It also states once I get this issue cleared that it could take another 9 weeks to get my check from them. Thanks for not doing ur job then lying to me instead of correcting this mistake the week I went back in trying to get it corrected!
