Long wait.. Not enough jobs

I had to call and check on my background because nobody cared to followup. The phone just rings and no calls are being returned. I went it to see what was available and had to wait until the others finished their application and drug screening to be called, when I had all that completed days prior to showing up. I was giving an assignment that started at 6:45 and was told to show up at 9 a.m for orientation. Myself along with another employee was sent back home because someone lied like our name were called and said we wasn't outside waiting where security had placed. The two Mexican ladies started work that day all because they didn't listen to security and stayed inside waiting for the representative and failed to let them know we was still outside at the picnic table waiting to be called. On top of that, security tried to cover himself by saying he told them we where outside waiting and that the representative never came pass the security scan to get us. We wasn't paid for those two hours of waiting although we came on time and was ask to show up the next day. I was told my shift would be Monday thru Friday 6:45 a.m to 4p.m at simos office, but once inside the office onsite I was informed that our hours are actually 10 to 12 hours with one weekend day beginning in two weeks. If someone accept an assignment it's because that's what you can work. You shouldn't lie to get people in then change stuff plus turn people around because you failed to do your job by coming outside to get your new hires. On top of that I felt the culture was divided because they had Mexicans working on one line and blacks on another line. The start time changes day to day as well as the end time for certain lines which wasn't stared at simos...I'm sure the have a lot of complaint but people are scared or just to lazy to post a review.

Y'all need to check out y'all leads on weekend second shift. They make y'all look bad. I'm at work now and Nike is having something for all employees and the lead didn't even tell us she told us to get to work knowing there was no work at the time. So for the next 20 minutes everyone standing around and y'all are at the event.

I love this place. They DO answer phone calls. They DO get you a job. Drug test was only $10 dollars out of your first paycheck when they help get you a job. I went to Simos last Tuesday. Started working Wednesday. I've been working since. Mon-Fri FULL TIME and paid weekly. They are not unprofessional. They are actually pretty cool people. If you look stupid and talk stupid. No one wants a dumbass to work for them. If there are no job openings. Then that means positions have been filled. Common sense. Gotta show up at Simos at 8:30am or even 9-10am. Any later it's kinda too late. Have to do the application there. Drug test. Then choose which location to work at. Whether it's Nike or William Sonoma. A job is a job. Either take it. Or be broke waiting for people to just give. If you want one. Go get one and do what you have to do to get it.

Worse company to work for. They rude unprofessional and they have issue with paying people the money. It's a reason why Nike fired them and hired smx if you need a job go to smx not simos. I wouldn't recommend this company to nobody

If you can be at work in a different sate at 6am this is the place for you. What is disappointing about Memphis the jobs start and finish time is as if you dont have a family. If its just you and JESUS raising your child this city is a disappointment.

Very unprofessional, came 2 days in a row and it was the same nonsense. The security office is the cause of all problems. He’s rude and disrespectful. The staff is no better
