Three years ago I could no longer work and I became disabled very quickly and immobile for extended periods of time. I could no longer lift anything, do stairs, stand for more than ten minutes, sit for longer than ten minutes, I was in constant chronic pain. I bartended for 30 years until I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. To the rest of the world I was considered an unskilled laborer who paid very little into the system, however I did have a long work history.As much as I didn't want to be out of work, I had no choice in the matter because I physically could not move. I contacted Silver & Silver, and Joe Silver believed I was in fact disabled and took on my case. Joe and his legal team, took a very long, tedious process and made it so much easier. Obtaining medical information and a doctor's testimony is very difficult to do without an attorney. They do everything in their power to settle your case. I had an issue with my unemployment compensation and went to my arbitration hearing thinking this is a drop in the bucket.
