Of course there will always be pessimism from ex-employees because well...they are no longer a part of this company. I was cordially contacted by the HR manager. He is very very very kind. He told me straight up, during the interview, “you only get it or you don’t”. And he is exactly right. This isn’t just your average mine to five gig. All departments require a certain person with certain skills needed to prosper within the company. I attended the three-day orientation then challenged the “exam”. Thought I didn’t score high, the trainers kept my spirits high. I have adhd and I am dyslexic. They claimed witnessing potential by my engagement in the class discussions/activities that of which made my heart smile. The two made an executive decision to allow a week long probation period where I could execute my abilities to their standards. Once more, I fell short but I didn’t let it hit me. Amy, a complete angel, is the department manager with David being the “evil HR” manager. He was very professional yet casual...funny at times. He kept it 100%. Though I wasn’t there long enough to develop my own ‘judgement’, if you will, they bother were very professional and comforting. It’s business not pleasure. Human Resources—google it. He is not there to make friends. Overall yeah...
