Not a company to work for.Unless you want to face discrimination or prejudice against those that are Transgender. Or your skills.Was interviewed Monday by Securitas for Security Supervisor position for the Kaiser Permanente Hospital Santa Rosa, CA. As I am highly qualified ex SF military, ex Law Enforcement, ex Security Contractor for the DOD (Iraq and Afghanistan), ex nursing background, firefighter, EMT, ex Law Enforcement Instructor, ex Security Instructor, 17 years security background, Worked and commanded teams and worked hospitals and Security operations in the Qlympics, Iraq and Afghanistan and tons of other background. I felt like I was over looked by the Security Manager because of my background and since I am Transgender female.This is ridiculous that my qualifications highly skilled and qualified applicant of a Disabled veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan.Wasn't taken seriously for this position.And Discrimination which I have faced many times before till they noticed that I am Transgender. And there ignorance or prejudice has came into this. Which is sad.

By far worse company. Issued 1pants 2 shirts full time work. Took over state bldg site a month ago. Paychecks always short or missing. No one ever answers phone or emails in Albany NY office. Pathetic operation.

Most unprofessional company I have ever worked through, I am a Private Investigator out here in Reno NV I currently work for a firm. I decided to work with Securitas for the last two months before I enlisted as an active duty member of the U.S armed forces so that I would be able to work locally, spending more time with family until my date. Upon arrival to my first post {Carson Tahoe Hospital} security guards were putting on make up and ignoring policies, out of uniform, forging security documents, constant complaints about management to a new employee. I had no communication on what when and where of the position or what my routs and checks were, they hire drug users and gang members to fill positions they are having trouble with. At my second post {South Gate Mall} in Carson City the initial observance was an unprofessional look of employees in cigarette filled patrol vehicles, the "Security office" was actually a 3' by 3' storage closet for the fire department with one broken filing cabinet lodge inside, [the fire department will be notified of this violation] the key to this "security office" if you can even call it that is twist tied to the side of a garbage can outside. I had not received my pay or my sign on bonus I was promised at the time of my signing, I had gone in today to relieve some of these issues and was told I was then not going to receive the bonus since I am resigning. I was also told by management I had signed papers that they could not present me as I signed nothing, the blatant unprofessional-ism of this establishment is astounding. Many violations, guards are unprofessional as management, forge documents, this whole company is a sham at least the Reno branch. I was forced to use my own vehicle for work and my own resources to be screwed over and out of funds the company promised and owed me. I assure you that you will have problems hiring this company for your security needs, they mistook me for someone they are used to hiring who is desperate for hours and would follow their unlawful actions. Highly Do Not Recommend

company is garbage, after hiring me for a year, never made enough money to even pay for a phone, which in turn lost my job due, they never offered me a full 40 hr work week, and have me blacklisted screw these guys!

PUBLIC published review 11/2/15Qualitest Pharmaceuticals in Huntsville, Alabama does not have enough Security to prevent theft of pharmaceutical drugs when there is now days high tech equipment for it which Securitas has at other sites but not at Qualitest. I quarantee many drugs are stolen out of that plant every day and the words must go out on them and someone find a way to get people in authority to let Qualitest and Securitas Security have it!Many guards have left Qualitest site though it is Securitas Security's highest paying site in Huntsville, Alabama. I was harrassed by coworkers daily at first until I reported it. And I felt I was standing on thin ice much of the time to try to hold my job. And other than that I hadn't got over the fairly recent loss of my mother who I lived with most of my 50+ years.
