Job Corps will help you if you want it to. I was 16 years old and I was glad to get away from the hell I was living in. My parents was not parents. So when I got to Schenk Job Corps took me in and gave me a chance to better myself and I did. But I did step off track a time are to but the important part is to getting back on track as fast as possible. I did I come to be a big brother there. I won all the pool tournaments. I entered in the oil panting contest and won 3rd place in the States of North Carolina. I never got my oil painting back. Wish I should have gotten it back it was the best one I have ever done. So the Military came out and gave us the asfab and 4 of us past it and 2 us went in. I did 4 year and got out and went back to my welding. By the way I finish the welding school and graduated from the welding school at Schenck CC Job Corps in 1990. And when I went into military I did Operation Desert Storm in 1991 and then I did a no-fly zone in 93. Two tours overseas. Now I'm retired thanks to Job Corps and my teacher and my welding instructors. I owe it all to you guys and gals. Job Corps is there to help you if you let it and if you don't want to you just there just to have fun it's not the place for you it's there to help you.
