Sargeant Partnership has been looking after everything to do with numbers since we started out business in 2012. With no prior knowledge of keeping records or books the staff are only to willing to answer each and every question i had. No question is to small or silly for them and they answer in language that is suitable / understandable. In addition the service is very efficient, friendly and accurate.

We have been using The Sargeant Partnership for our Accounts and Tax returns for a number of years now - They also do our payroll now as well. Very happy with their service - no complaints at all - They always get back very promptly if we have any questions too.

Update: This place is something else, after I have moved to a different accountant they have charged £359 for sending emails and letters! Their payroll is useless they do not settle any payments with HMRC for you leaving you to pick that up but you still have to pay £75 for them to send you your payslip.Personal tax return is another charge they make and leave it to you to sort out.I can't think of one thing this company did right for me in the short time I was with them.-----This place just seems interested in taking your money and aren't interested in offering any support for small businesses. If you're just starting out I'd recommend going elsewhere to save yourself the stress of trying to get any reassurance out of them that they will look after your affairs.These guys have completely put me off of wanting to run my own business due to the complete lack of guidance or care given. Well the only care I have seen so far is their care taken to invoice you.

I have been using Sargeant Partnership to process my UK tax return since moving overseas a few years ago and I am extremely satisfied with their services. I have had the pleasure of working with an extremely competent, experienced, and approachable Tax Senior who has made the daunting process of filing my tax return very straightforward. I highly recommend Sargeant Partnership for their experience, knowledge, advice, and professional attitude.

I started my business Trinder Hair Studios Limited 12 months ago having got a private investor. Gary and his team especially Jane and Jo have been very helpful at all stages.They introduced me to a bookkeeper and a cloud based accounting solution. They review my accounts, advise on dividends, help with VAT and do my payroll . They have been absolutely fundamental in helping me understand business. I can not recommend them highly enough

I am writing to totally agree with the other reviewer - that was obviously annoyed by this firm's tactics. Constantly increasing petty charges, and when questioned there was always an excuse. They only acted in their own self-interest, not in our interest. In short we had to replace them. We now have an accountant who offers a proper service in our interests, for a reasonable price. Avoid the headache.

When I started my business I knew little about the Accountancy financial side and used Gary Sargeant, as the business grew and I gained a better understanding of our back office I became aware of the mistakes they made and how they overcharged at every opportunity. Even on fixed fee arrangements they will find ways of adding extra. We moved to a new practice and my bills are 1/3 of what they used to be! AVOID THIS PRACTICE.
