About - Salem Five Bank - Peabody (Central St)

This is not my usual branch. This was the first – and the last – time I visited this place. A very rude older lady was helping me. After depositing a 1.5k check on my account, I wanted to get 4 quarter for 1 dollar of loose change (30 of them pennies). First she tried to refuse saying that they only accept rolled coins. After I said “but it's just ONE dollar...” she grudgingly took my coins and proceeded counting them, while looking like she was performing a very difficult task and doing me a huge favor. And there was no line, nobody was waiting behind me... Do I need to mention that I never got any “thank you” or “have a nice day” … not even “welcome” in response to my “thank you”... Very rude and utterly ridiculous. Seriously?! This is a BANK. I have been a customer for many years! It's just amazing how different branches of the same bank can be. By the way, if this was the branch I visited years ago before opening the account, I would never become a customer of Salem Five.
