Today I went into the police department to fill out a report about someone opening up an account in my name at a River Forest retailer. This is one of 4 accounts they had opened up and I am slightly frazzled. Liliana, the patrol office who took my report, could not have been more kind or helpful. After working with her I feel I can breathe a little bit deeper and that I am going to get help from this police department. Thank you Liliana.

I guess the police department doesn't have much else to do but give out tickets to out of state people for erroneous violations. Not sure how you can make a left turn from the right hand lane when you only have one lane. The officer said it was a 4 lane road. Not sure how that is possible when you only have a center line in the road. I could contest it but need to set up a court date. It will cost more to drive back and go through the process of contesting it. I guess it is just an easy way for them to make money by giving tickets to out of state drivers knowing most won't come back to contest it. Hope they will use my donation wisely.
