Insulting pay and poor new hire practices caused me to quit on my 6th day. Apparently I was the 3rd person hired for that one position who left under similar circumstances.

Restaurant Solutions has helped us open our eyes to see where we needed to re-evaluate our menu. Whether it was repricing, rethinking, re-plating or getting rid of menu items all together, RSI’s Menu Engineering guides us to make the correct decisions for our businesses in real time. RSI’s Menu Engineering Graphs and Reports shows my team how to effectively price our menu items. The managers know where they stand with costs and what trends impact our business.RSI’s services keep all 11 of our businesses aligned and consistent on Inventory and Ordering practices and cost accountability. We have great leverage with our vendors due to the RSI Interface; we can review and print reports detailing the business we do with vendors. RSI advocates for us and helps strengthen our Buying Position. They have provided us with proof of our consolidated leverage to negotiate the best prices and deals.RSI developed financial acumen and accountability team and build leadership in my organization. They are stronger, better, more focused leaders due in large part to RSI’s ongoing Training and Support. RSI provides excellent developmental tools and training which gives me the time I need to oversee my company as a whole, instead of having to micro manage all of the day-to-day operational tasks.I oversee 11 units; the only way I’m able to do my job as COO is to use the tools, Reporting, Accounting and Financial Services and Support Team that RSI offers me.

The food service industry has an overabundance of ancillary services, most of which fall well short of the expectations and claims made for how that they can improve your business.RSI has been a rare exception. RSI has been absolutely critical to the day-to-day operations, long-term goal planning, weekly accounting, financial analysis and so much more for my restaurant.The RSI service pays for itself several times over during the course of a year and I cannot give their company a better recommendation or endorsement. We grew from an office in a basement to a ‘mom and pop’ operation to a legitimate business. Being accountable weekly through RSI for performance and profitability made us grow up as a company.We realized the value of the Weekly Accounting Service RSI provides. With RSI we had more immediate control and understanding of our financial position, and understood how important it is to see Financial Statements weekly and have out Accounting Services consolidated in one platform. Not having to use 3 different contracted services through a local CPA was better for us organizationally and cost-wise. Overall RSI demonstrates efficiency and value by providing access to a single-portal solution to our Accounting needs, so we don’t have to navigate multiple interfaces for what we need.Ten years ago we understood very little about budgets. We based Cash Flow Position on bank balances, we looked at P&L’s only on an annual basis; we realized we had a great deal to learn. We hired RSI and we got smart. Honestly, when we considered RSI as a service the impetus was mainly to get payroll support. We realized we had a need to learn how to handle our business from a financial perspective. RSI helped us get where we are. We saw the importance of learning what we should stop doing and what we needed to start doing. In conclusion, we appreciate the value RSI adds for their clients as they grow and change. The real value is that operators can get as deeply knowledgeable of Accounting and Financial principles as they are willing to become. Our team has benefitted from becoming well versed on what RSI offers. We have also benefitted from taking the RSI Training piece meal, learning at our pace and the varying levels of experience as our staff has grown and developed over the years.
