I had a pretty frustrating experience this morning. My husband had a specialty blood draw he needed done. First it took an hour to find location because the office at 929 Boston Post road is no longer there. There is NO phone number to speak to someone locally. Toll free number said help and directions not available, and repeatedly disconnected me. When we arrived I informed phlebotomist that there were very specific special instructions and I needed to give blood as a control and asked if they were capable of doing this test. He assured me yes. After Aaron's blood was draw, he told me he couldn't take mine without a note from my doctor even though I very clearly said this was not the case, as I had done the same test before for my daughter multiple times. I sat around waiting staring at the signs that say Quest respects your time while I waited for my husbands office to send over a note saying no orders needed for me, when the phlebotomist told me they had called someone and checked. I am annoyed because I tried to call ahead of time, and there is no number to speak with a person and very clearly asked if they were prepared to run this test, and if they knew how, and The male tech didn't even have manners to apologize for being so rude insisting I was wrong and wasting my time, my husband's time and my husband's doctors office valuable time. About two hours between trying to track down office and their inability to follow directions on the doctor's orders. Now I am not even confident it will be completed correctly. We will never go here again.
