Feedback:

My insurance recently stopped covering Health Network Labs. I've been to their location in Trexlertown several times for Lipid Panels, never with an appointment & I never had a problem. I usually waited 5-15 minutes and one of the 4-6 employees quickly saw me, drew my blood, and I was on my way with $0 copay.Had to go to Quest now that HNL isn't covered, and OMG, what a horrible experience. I set up an appointment online for 8:00 am. I get there around 7:55, sign in on the iPad & I see my name on the TV with a 5 min wait time. There's one other person already in the waiting room, and I see her name with an 8 min wait time. After a few minutes, the other lady is called up and back into Room 1. Then, another patient walks in and asks the "receptionist" something. The employee ends up talking about the test the patient needed (hello, HIPAA violation?!) stating that their location no longer performs that test and she'd probably have to go to Health Network or somewhere else. After the patient leaves, I get called up. She takes my insurance card and picks up the phone. She's calling someone else in Quest asking about the test the patient she just turned away needed. From what I overheard on my end, it sounded like she wanted to double check she was right about some recent memo discontinuing the test but apparently she was wrong. Quest does do the test and the patient was incorrectly sent away (lucky her!)After she's off the phone, she asks for $8 and change for the test. I say I'm pretty sure it's a $0 copay but she says nothing and just takes my FSA card. I'm trying to pull up my insurance website as she calls me back to Room 1 (while walking into Room 2). See the lady who walked in to be handled AFTER me but was called back BEFORE me was in Room 1. After the little mixup, I join her in Room 2 and she makes awkward small talk with me as she draws my blood. Her method of placing the pressure bandage/gauze pad on my arm felt like it was going to fall off right away, so I fixed that later. But as I walked out I confirmed my $0 copay and realized I never got a receipt (necessary for my FSA card). I wait for her to finish in Room 1 (ONE employee to do EVERYTHING!!) and when she comes out with the vials, she asks me pretty rudely if there's anything she can do for me. I ask for the receipt and she just says I'll get one via email. I then try to tell her how Cigna's website says Lipid Panels have $0 copay and she gets all indignant, saying she doesn't know anything beyond the computer told her I owed that amount. If I didn't owe anything, my card wouldn't be charged anything (despite being swiped).I was there for 15-20 minutes total (with an appointment), ended up being charged $8.82 for blood work I was supposed to have $0 copay for, had to redo the wrap on my arm, was treated like %&@*, and saw the employee talk loudly about a test a different patient needed to get there & inadvertently lied to the patient, sending her to the "competition"All in all, I think I may just pay out of pocket to go back to Health Network Labs. I'm definitely not ever going back to Quest again!

Had appt @ 11:30 am on 1/31/3018- arrived @ 11:20 & was told couldn't get it done cuz there system was down. Said I could try Emmaus location, I called them & they were having same issue! My last resort was to call Cedar Crest Blvd. & I couldn't go there either! Needless to say, I wasted my time & gas! Have appt @ 11:30 today (2/1) & cant get thru to any1 to see if they're up & running- customer service was no help! hour on

Had to go for a drug test, the woman wouldn’t accept any form of ID that doesn’t have a photo on it, and would not answer any quesions. I come back 20 minutes later with photo ID, she tells me that she is closing early due to snow. She then directs me to another location, which she told me the wrong address for.

I made a 7 am appointment at the Macungie location and arranged for people to cover me at work so I can take a 2 hour glucose test. After I signed in, the phlebotomist told me that she doesn’t have the “stuff” to do the bloodwork, and sent me to a different location. A waste of my time!

Feedback:

They close at 12:30 for the day which to me is pretty unbelievable. I got there 10 minutes before close for a quick test. I was rudely sent away. They didn't tell me when they would re-open. They didn't tell me that other locations were still open (Emmaus, 4 miles away)Treating patients well doesn't seem to be a priority which I guess makes sense. I didn't order the test and I'm not paying for it. I'm not the customer, I can't easily choose to take my business elsewhere. I'll end up going back here or another Quest location where they will hopefully help me.Also, google directions were a bit off. Took me to the back of the building. They are out front next to Osaka (which is a great place)

Easy kiosk check-in. Needed blood work so went around 7:30. Can't recall attendant's name but courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I wish all patient service centers were like this.

Feedback:

This place has short hours and seems to be out of Supplies constantly. Arrived for screening and they sent me packing to another quest.

Feedback:

We had to take our three year old in to be tested for Lyme and chose this location since it was closest to our house. We had spent a bit of time that morning explaining what would happen to our daughter. As soon as we had signed in, a lady appeared from somewhere in the back and yelled across the room in an agitated way "ok, who's getting blood drawn? If it's a kid, is she going to scream and fight because there's just me and I can't hold her down by myself". She then proceeded to flop into her chair, put her head in her hands, and spoke about paperwork left at another office. I know we all have bad days, but her whole demeanor made me very uncomfortable to entrust her with my daughter. She demanded our paperwork, at which point my husband and I told her we were going to leave and get the blood work done somewhere else. We went to the Emmaus location, where we had professional, kind people who took my daughter's blood. And she didn't make a sound the whole time.

Expect to wait at least a half hour past your appointment time. :)
