Alicia has been working for Quest for 30 years (she must have started when she was born, because she only looks 30-35), so she knows most of the ins and outs of unusual lab test requests. Our doctor ordered 55 tests for my spouse. Alicia drew blood for the most common ones, so we could see how well our insurance covers them. She left us a voice mail before she left for the day, to assure us that she had drawn enough blood for most of the tests, and reviewed the remaining ones to make sure that she had the proper equipment ready for next time.Alicia set us at ease as soon as we walked in the door. She was so skillful with the needle, my spouse felt no discomfort. No bruising No soreness. Just a brief spell of lightheartedness, which Alicia handled with continued chatty cheerfulness.

I’ve been to quite a few Quest locations over the years. In general, I have compared the experience to going to the DMV — terrible customer service and long wait times. However, this location couldn’t be further from that. I got in at 730 and was out before 740. Alice was fantastic! She was happy, provided great conversation, and seemed to really enjoy your job. My day was better after having that interaction.
