Palo Verde is one of the largest power producing plants in the U.S. Has won the Thomas Edison award for highest generating capacity and reliability 13 times. We’re 45 miles west of Phoenix on I-10 six miles south of I-10 on Wintersburg Road. If you get a chance, drop by the visitors center to learn all about this safe and modern plant.
