They are really nice people but I wouldn’t recommend using them for business purposes. I never felt that I was taken seriously as a small business owner, they waited until the last second to do my taxes even though I sent them everything they needed months in advance. Then they made a mistake and forgot to file my state taxes and I was hit with late fees and a bad letter from the IRS. When I asked them what was going on they apologized for the mistake and then said they would take care of it. A month later I got another notice from the IRS stating that I still had overdue taxes! I decided to take it into my own hands and figure out how to pay it. The day I paid it I got an email from Padgett saying they had paid it using my account information so I ended up double paying state taxes for 2017 along with the late fees. They said they would send a check to reimburse me for the late fees and that I should get one of the two payments to New York State refunded but it has been a couple of months now and I still have not received a check from them for reimbursement of late fees, nor have I been refunded one of the double payments. Very disappointing experience.
