I guess it's nothing against this company personally because the office people seemed friendly. This past week I started at a recycling company in Duncan and only worked one day which was this past Monday..Maybe I didn't get a full concept of what the job was, the young man showed me a small video clip of the job and I said, ok I will try it. Long story short I went in and was put working on a conveyor belt sorting through garbage as it came down and it smelled awful, certain areas of the floor were full of water so you had to watch your step to keep from falling and to top it off I got a nice burn on my elbow from the conveyor belt. I went home very upset but determined not to give up and then noticed that $20 I had in my small purse which I took in was gone, I'm not saying it definitely happened there but I had it when I went in that morning. I started out the next morning and had car problems at 3:30 in the morn so I said to heck with it...I admit I didn't return their calls because I was upset about my missing money and the burn on my arm and they are docking my pay to minimum wage for quitting..Make your own choice about what assignment you take but I would avoid the recycling place in Duncan..I graduated Spartanburg Comm College this past Dec and know I deserve better than that.
