I've been coming here for years. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable without hovering too much when you're browsing. Owner is a big supporter of community events and organizations. They've always been willing to order anything they don't carry if you tell them you'd have a steady need for it. A nice selection of Takoma-themed t shirts is always on sale across from the paint mixing desk. Small nursery section outdoors. Don't miss the free parking out back, accessed from Westmoreland via a steep driveway.
