I needed to drop 10 lbs as fast as possible, went on the Nutrisystem program and did it in 2 mos. That was pretty good. Worked for me.

If there were Negative 10 Stars score, I'd give that. Nutri System takes advantage of the elderly. They will not accept cancellation even if they agree to pay the $125 fee for canceling auto pay before the 2nd shipment. A terrible customer service experience and surprised such a large company works this way and takes advantage of people who don't want the food because it takes horrible and it poor quality. Marie Osmond, do you approve of this conduct of business? These are innocent elderly people Nutrisystem is disrespecting and taking advantage of. DON'T DO AUTO PAY PROGRAM, OR YOU WILL HAVE A TOUGH TIME CANCELLING (ONLY BY PHONE, NO EMAIL) AND YOU WILL GET SURCHARGED A $125 FEE ON TOP OF THE $400 something FOR THE 4 WEEKS OF TERRIBLE TASTING FOOD THEY SEND YOU.

Worst company to work for and horrible procedures towards staff and customers. The end goal seems to be how much money they can get from customers before they realize they don’t have a full month of food and that the foods loaded unhealthy preservatives.

FOOD IS TERRIBLE, other than breakfast & snacks. VERY EXPENSIVE. HORRIBLE WAIT TIMES if you need to call them..over 30 min at least. They nickel & dime you.The more expensive the better the food but you have to eat your own food two days a week and all veggies, 4 servings a day and nuts/ grains also not included but you need to eat them...smart carbs..power food, so it's really a rip! Shakes for 1 wk then expensive al la carte! I will finish my month and try a better program. Not at all worth the $!$$. Just eat 1000 cal per day, eat grains & nuts & 4 servings veggies and a gallon of water a day. That is Nutrisystem & it won't cost $300-$400/mo PLUS YOUR OWN FOOD.DON'T DO IT!

Be Prepared to pay if you leave their service. If you order one order, and take the "discount" they offer everyone. You are obligated to take two orders. If you don't want the other order they charge you 150 dollars to cancel. I even tried to cancel the payment on my card but the Card says they have a special deal and can not block future charges. So Nutri system PAYS Credit card companies to let them bill your card even if you do not want to.

I tried this plan b/c I thought it would be a simple way to make meals and lose a few pounds. Wrong! The meals still require you to provide the side (veggies), which they say you can eat all you want . I did double up on the raw vegetables, otherwise I would feel like I was starving. Results after 28 days no wait loss. Followed the plan to the letter. Called to cancel and yes another victim of the fine print. Even after explaining their system wasn't for me didn't lose wait. They responded oh well. There are better and cheaper ways to lose weight where you aren't lining the pockets of individuals who use such tactics as a 2 month commitment in fine print or pay a penalty. Bad business Nutrisystem!

It's a horrible company. They treat employees poorly, while making them work excessive hours, and rip off customers on a regular basis. They'll offer promotions that sound like a great deal, but then mess up orders by sending out the wrong food items. I worked there for a little while, years ago, but happily left when I found a job that paid more than $30,000/yr. Unless someone can't take full control of their diet, I'd never recommend this company. If you work there, or know anyone that does, tell them to establish a backup plan asap.

I have been on NS several times over the years. The good side is I lose weight. But on the down side I've noticed something. My first time with NS in 2007 I got 28 days worth of meals. A bit short of a month but close. The next time or may be the one after that (2011 or 2015) I got 24 days worth of meals instead of 28. Same price but instead of those 4 days I got Flex Days. A lot of hype on why it's a good thing but the bottom line is 15% less product for the same money. Now I'm on it again for the last time (I'm really annoyed at their marketing) and I got 20 meals for the same money. And I suspect the portions are smaller and there are more bars instead of real meals. So now you get just less than 3 weeks of meals for your month. But you do get 8 Flex Days. When my obligation is over next month, I'll go with 30 Flex Days instead. Maybe the new owner is trying to recover financially.

I used nutrisystem for 2 months. When I started I was 143lb. I only lost 5lbs during that time. No cheating, exercise 30mins in the morning and in the afternoon. I liked the food (most of it) I was actually looking forward to breakfast, lunch, dinner because I didn't have to worry about what to make for once. Even though I love cooking. Anyway, there were 2 things I wasn't happy with and one of those was the snacks... they weren't good. Not good at all. And it was way to much for me because before nutrisystem I didn't eat sweets. My thing was carbs. (Still is) .. and second? The price. It was a BIT too much. If not that I might of kept going. Maybe. Since then I stopped using nutrisystem and just kept with eating more greens and counting calories.. and lost almost 20lb and didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars a month.
