An invaluable resource for employers and employees alike.They're friendly, patient, and very willing to assist people in their job related endeavours weither it be participation in the second careers program, resume building, job searching or even just making photocopies, they're more than willing to assist in any way possible.

I moved to the area last year June and worked for a month but then a previous car accident caused me to quit my job due to pain because it was a very physical job. Then in October I had an air cast on for 2 months after taking a fall and fracturing my ankle. I saw a sign as I was leaving the parking lot across from Giant Tiger for the Niagara employment help center and noticed that courses were offered such as CPR Etc I decided to make a call and so very glad I did. I met with the very friendly reception staff. Karen is very friendly and professional as is Agnes and another gentleman whose name I have not gotten yet but they are all very nice to deal with. There are a number of computers and printers that are available to use after checking in with reception. I have met with Brenda in the past who is also very nice but because of my situation I am now being looked after by Amber. I couldn't be happier with everything she has helped me with and advised me on. She knows how to make you feel comfortable without feeling any added stress in your life which is so important. I am signed up for the CPR program in February, it is a two-day course that I am looking forward to. I am looking to get back into the healthcare industry and also hoping to get funding from Second Careers to take a course for a career that is in more of a demand in this area then what I have previous training for. I'm very excited to get back to working again or at least getting the education I need for a different position in the healthcare community. Amber had put together a one-page resume for me from my previous two-page resume and I was really impressed with it! This office is the way to go if you are stuck and just don't know what to do anymore. If you want to help yourself, you need to let them help you. You won't be disappointed! I look forward to my visit every week or two. I'm so very glad I took the first step

Thanks to everyone here for their help I was able to get a great job in just a few weeks. They helped me sprouce up my resume and show me the proper way to carry out an interview! I will continue to refer friends and family, in need of work, here. I start my job tomorrow, and just wanted to say thank toy for everyone's hard work! I'll make sure it pays off tomorrow.

I was referred to the employment help centre by a friend after I had lost my position at a hair salon while I was an apprentice, I lost my job due to a pregnancy and I was actually embarrassed to have to go to the employment centre as I had not had anyone help me with a job search before.After my first appointment with one of the counselors she made me feel extremely comfortable, she introduced me to many resources that I didn't even know existed. She helped me vamp my resume to its fullest potential, she also directed me in my search in a position which I was skilled in I'm so thankful this place was introduced to me, I have told many people about it and that all of you are very helpful especially because jobs are hard to to find these days but with the right help you can find one and be successful! Thanks again for the help I now have a successful job!!!

came here and the first person i got was useless, they lost my resume and all the information and never gave a call back or tried to set up a second appointment.came back again and gave a second person a chance there and they did set up another appointment for about a week after, but then it took them 2 weeks to compete the resume, which didnt even have everything in it that was supposed to be in it.you can never contact them and they are quite uneasy to talk to people and dont have good resources to help you, never go here
