I spoke with a Tracy on the phone. She seemed dismissive and condescending. I explained I worked in the schools and would like summer work, but that it could turn into something longer. She acted like I was not serious and that I have not had a job before. I have a masters degree and a decade of experience, but the feeling of being an insignificant, expendable worker will make me look elsewhere for employment.

Very pleasant experience, can't say enough about Tracy, well I could but my fingers would cramp up and I can't type that fast. I had no intention of using a staffing agency but applied through a tip of a job that might be available. Turns out the job I heard about wasn't available but was asked to come in for an interview anyway. I wasn't sure what to expect but was quickly put at ease and actually had a good time. Tracy pointed out a few things on my resume that needed corrected and did it in a non-condescending way. I dealt with Tracy and Joann mostly and would have no problem recommending a friend talk to them.

Having had bad experiences with other companies and their "promises", I was surprised by Tracy McCarty at Newton. Not only was she helpful and understanding to my problems and limitations, she was actually accommodating. I always cringe when I have to explain things rather than try to hide them, but she made me feel like nothing couldn't be worked around if I could hold up my end of the deal. I would very much recommend Newton over some other places I wont name!
