We were new to the area and Nelson & Nelson was recomended. Worked with Diane, she was awesome. First year we had relocating fees plus transition of home based business from IA to SD sales tax...all was a breeze. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.

What a shock charged $471.00 for a return with no deductions schdules and was lied to and they had mistakes . Could of done better with Turbo Tax.

It was my first time going to Nelson and Nelson to get my taxes done. I'm a single household with no kids so I figured going there wasn't going to be that bad plus I had just moved states. Everything went very smoothly, the staff was very nice and professional. BUT I had no idea it was going to cost me $266!!.. I should had asked about their fees first and that is my fault but I really thought by being just a single person it was going to be more affordable.

Very expensive. We asked for a quote when we started and was always told it would be minimal because we have no deductions. We were billed a crazy amount after it was all said and done. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We have used Nelson and Nelson CPA service for over 15 years. This firm always puts their best interest to the client. Nelson and Nelson CPA's are extremely knowledgeable, professional and efficient .. The front staff ALWAYS makes tax time easy and comfortable, always offering soda, coffee, water,etc. We highly recommend Nelson and Nelson to others and will continue to do so. Gary and Lonnie Salmen

They went through my old taxes that I had done (by a professional) and found a ton of errors and returns from previous years my first year going there. I have never met a more educated team that is so willing to help with such a stressful task as filing taxes.

Chuck was extremely helpful in answering all of my tax-related questions quickly and efficiently. During the appointment, I had a couple of other random questions related to W2, mortgages, Roth IRAs, and other miscellaneous financial-related questions. I got all of my questions answered and I left feeling so much more in control of not only my taxes but of my finances in general. Chuck had my tax return completed in 7 days even though I came in right in the middle of tax season. I would highly recommend Nelson & Nelson!

In 1 year I retired, moved twice and had a concern about me raised by the IRS. Nelson and Nelson handled all of my questions and concerns. I was dealt with professionalism, kindness and understanding. Since moving to Nelson and Nelson I have resolved my issues with the IRS and they filed multiple state and federal taxes for me. I consider myself a somewhat intelligent person, but when it comes to taxes the rules might as well be written in ancient Gaelic.
