Seriously Never set a foot in here.Katie at the front desk will lie to you every step of the way and the owner lynn sides with her everytime. I worked really hard but i was let go because Lynn deciding I was the one lieing in her eyes. I was truely sick and i called Nelson. Katie said she will call my employer "dont worry about it." Next day i get a call saying im fired for no call no show. I really needed this job as they knew and now im out on the streets. The worst part is every person who would go here needs to. :(

I came in and filled out the application and the people were really friendly. I got to work shortly after and had a great experience. I feel like if you present yourself well and show that you are willing to work (which i think is the attitude you should have when trying to find a job) it will workout great for you too.It is locally owned (which I love) and the staff is super friendly. They make you feel relaxed, taking the pressure off of the whole interview process. I don't think that anyone should rely SOLELY on companies like this in job searching because "if it is to be, it is up to me," right? I think a lot of people who do have a negative experience with companies like this don't realize that. BUT...If you are going to put an "extra line in the water" and want a company who will work with you to find a good job, Nelson is the way to go! I would choose them first over any other companies out there because of how they have treated me and the lengths they went to help me find work.

If you need help looking for work avoid this place. The staff is dreadful, My husband went to them for help, and never heard from them again, he called several times and was told someone would get back to him. never did. They "helped' me get a CNA position only to mess it up by not following through anything.

My experiences and relationship with Nelson Personnel is excellent. They have found me what I have been looking for and worked with me when I was regularly employed. While you’re looking for work, Nelson is finding you better work with better pay that can be temp-to-hire. Scheduled my interview right away!

Do not use Nelson Personnel for your temp agency needs, they allow sexual harassment to go unpunished if you are gay and they send you to work for skeevy employers who will do the best they can to get out of signing your time cards which means you on't get paid for the work you did in fact do. I will never use their services again.
