Overall Feedback:
My husband and I were in the process of having a house built in Dallas (this fact is important). Due to unforeseen circumstances, we found ourselves needing to relocate back to my hometown of San Diego, CA instead. We did not want to buy a house in San Diego as we aren’t sure that is where we really want to settle down, but we will probably be there for a couple of years. We put in an application for a home and handed it in to the property manager and she passed it on to THIS awful establishment.About a week later (I’ve never had an application process take so long) we are told that we were denied for this rental home. We were told to call this company if we had any questions as to why we were denied... so that’s exactly what we did. Apparently we were denied because my credit score was in the low 500s, my husband doesn’t have a FICO score at all (what?), and that my husband had bad rental history. How were we approved for buying a home in Dallas if my husband doesn’t have a FICO score and mine is in the low 500s?? That is either a flat out LIE or they have no idea what they are doing. Second... the apartment complex that supposedly my husband has negative rental history with wrote my husband a letter of recommendation due to him being an amazing tenant. So once again... what they said is a lie. My husband and I have decent credit, we are business owners, and our income is well above average. We have amazing rental history... we are basically the perfect tenants that any landlord would be happy to have. We are blown away at how these people made us out to look to potential landlords and frankly feel like we have been scammed. They are LIARS.
