We met with Tim, the MD from MNE, before subcontracting out our statements and rental payments to them. He assured us professional service and attention to detail, so we thought we would give them a try.It would prove to be one of the worst mistakes we made.From the outset, there were constant accounting mistakes; many of these were inputting the wrong numbers and initially they even blamed it on us.As things progressed, they did own up to mistakes, but always blamed this on human error. To me this sounds odd. Should an accounting firm be making consistent number inputting mistakes ?Complaints were made, but we received a defensive attitude from Natasha Harris. What this ultimately meant was that we had to double check ALL OF MNE’s work and point out to them where the mistakes were on top of paying them nearly £12,000 per year.Ultimately, we had no option but to cancel the contract, as we were doing their work anyway. This was perhaps the best decision we made. Not only do we now have a dedicated accounts assistant to work on this every day, but in the same amount of money we paid to MNE, the accounts assistant can do other office based work such as carrying out inspections, viewings, answering phones, etc. And the most important thing… No More Mistakes are Being Made !If you are thinking of subcontracting out your work out to MNE, be warned they make numerous mistakes and blame it on human error.
