I was recommended by a payroll company. THIS IS NOT A BAD REVIEW FOR THE CPA HIMSELF. However, when I called to inquire about rates, the lady that answered the phone was rude, bossy, and not willing to cooperate at all. She told me if I wanted to know more about the services I needed to make an appointment and refused to give provide further info. Of course I didn't make anything...

I really enjoyed my year and 1 month working here. It does hurt me to say this, but I must. Be very mindful of what you do in a small company such as this. During my time of need and while on best rest for a major, life threatening surgery, I was terminated for posting a very positive letter of recommendation from Michael Rose. I was very inspired and wanted to share my future endeavors with my friends and family. Of course I didn't think anything was wrong with posting it on FB or else I wouldn't have done it, Right? I guess I was very wrong and I was blind sided with a nasty termination letter. I feel I was more to it than that. I'm sharing this review to get my story heard, because I am unable to really fight this is court. For those that shared in knowing me while working for this company know that I work hard, I was always polite, never rude to any client, always smiling in the work place and always strived to want more and to grow. Now, a single mom of 2, no job, recently out of the hospital and barely able to afford living an now stuck searching for my future again. No warning, no heads up or anything. Let's just fire her. Please be careful if you work for a small company, especially when Texas is an "At will" state. No one cares about you when its all sad and done. I know the God I serve will take care of the nasty way this company treated me on my sick bed. God will open doors for me. I am truly honored to have learned what I know now, because it will help me in my next job. Thank you Michael Rose for that recommendation letter, it will definitely serve a purpose for me. My Para Planner scholarship will not go to waste. Awesome CPA, unfair termination. Good luck in your business, and if you were a true man of God, things would have been handled differently, but who was I anyway? God Bless you and your family.

Messed up my incorporation process badly. Was supposed to take 2 weeks, went on for over 3 months. Asked for a refund and to cancel the incorporation, which they did. Good for others, not for me.

Had my 2016 taxes done here. I was quite impressed and would have rated it high at the time. In December 2017, I responded to a mass promotion email he sent out about prepaying and scheduling an appointment for filing 2017 taxes. I sent about 4 emails to try to follow up. I called and left a message. I never heard a word. I tried well into January 2018 to get in touch and never got a single response or email back. I know it took me a while to post this rating, but felt the need to post. He lost what could have been a lifetime customer. I found him through Dave Ramsey, but from now on I’ll do the vetting myself.Fast forward, I called the office after tax season last year in an attempt to get a copy of my taxes emailed to me. I was told it would cost me $40, because she’d have to look for it in the system.

Michael Rose and his team have been a shining light for me and my family, for years. I remember first meeting Michael and being in his office, scared out of my mind. Because taxes are kind of a big deal. But let me tell you, just an email from Michael Rose puts my mind at ease and keeps me up to date with all that I'd like to know, all that I'm sometimes wondering, and sometimes more than I thought I could make sense of. However, he makes it all make sense. As a young working professional, who has had to move cross country, file for disability, work more than one job, and file taxes at the last minute, I am very grateful to put trust in and feel great coming out. All of my paperwork is placed in a file that I keep. I like that. And the opportunity to ask questions and hear back from even the receptionist has always gone well. Being in this network, and closely connected to Missouri City has served me well.Great guy. Great business.

I found Mr.Rose and two other accountants via Google. What made me decide to go with Mr. Rose is that he took time to address my tax concerns - both business and personal - prior to meeting. He had so much enthusiasm over the phone that one could sense he was not just a numbers guy; neither would he treat you like one. I was not disappointed when meeting him and his team. The only thing I would say is that he is not cheap. You might pay a good amount for his services, but it is worth it. He fully understands tax law and is enthusiastically helping his clients to be better informed as well. I will see him again next year.
