I have had the most wonderful experience working with Merritt Staffing. Three years ago Michelle placed me at a role in my desired field. I was very happy in this position however, after the company relocated Michelle helped me to find another amazing opportunity. What sets Merritt Staffing and Michelle apart are the relationships they form with those they work with. I have worked with other staffing agencies in the past and as a job seeker I felt disposable to them. Michelle took the time to get to know me, what kind of company I wanted to work for, corporate culture, salary requirements, and benefits that were important to me. She worked diligently to find the role that was the perfect fit for me.

Bad experience myself. They were very interested in my resume, but once I told them I wasn't looking to temp, I was looking for a full-time position they never called me back. I even emailed them a few times, but they never responded to my email. Very unprofessional. I know some companies that use this place and in my opinion they shouldn't. I'm an HR professional, I will never use them for a business to help me recruit people.

Merritt Staffing is an exceptional company. Lisa took the time to understand what I was looking for and didn't waste my time sending me anything she didn't think would be a good fit. She made the application process painless and found me a job that I love. She walked me through every step of the way even prepping for interviews so I walked in feeling confident. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you for everything!

My experience with Merritt Staffing in Stratford, CT has been nothing short of amazing! I started out as a temp employee, then got hired as a full timer. Next, I went out on my own and one day found myself in need of a great recruiting agency. Jennifer, was not only my boss while I was employed there, but, turned out to be my recruiter when I needed someone. I trust her completely with my career and this last time she helped me get the position of my dreams, right here in town! She was able to fulfill every item on my wish list for a new position. I trust no one else when it comes to my career! If you are looking for a new career path, call them! You won't be wasting your time!

Merritt staffing and especially Lisa are wonderful! She reached out to me regarding a job that matched my qualifications and the career path I was looking for. They prepared me for the upcoming interviews, followed up after each step and was there to answer my questions day and night. I ended up getting the job. Lisa recently followed up with me to see how it was going. That was above and beyond my expectations.I would highly recommend Merritt Staffing to anyone looking for a new career!

This place does not even deserve one star in my opinion, but, I had to enter something! Looking Online at a couple other Reviews, it seems like this place is not very liked and I can understand why. They called me interested in my Resume about a Job, I did not contact them. When I walked in, there was a Receptionist, one Employee, a Manager and a huge empty office. I met with the Manager who was so rude and so unprofessional that it made me sick. Instead of it being a welcoming and helpful experience, it ended up being a session of the Manager verbally degrading me. It was NOT what I needed and a lot of people told me that I should have walked out the minute that Manager spoke, and I should have. The funny thing is, she told me,"If I can't get you this Job, you better believe that you are going to be called for a Temp job!" Guess what?? She never called me and that goes to show that the Business is not doing what it should and probably won't be around much longer from the looks of it to be quite honest. I have told other people my recommendations of this place and to NOT go there and I will continue to do so because if you're not going to provide me with good Customer Service, then word gets around. So, my advice to the Manager is treat people with respect because what goes around comes around, and you'll be out of a job quicker than you think.
