Not considering the office ladies, since they're just there to check you in and help on computers, the DVR staff is actually very friendly, and they're good at their job. They already helped me get some job training and I've filled out a resume online.

Stood at counter for 15 minutes waiting for help in an empty office. There were two women on computers that ignored me until I tried the office door to the right of the service counter. One of the women that were on a computer asked what I wanted. I said I need help finding work, do you know where the job center staff is? She said she was a staff member and there is really nobody there that could help me and I could get anything I needed online.I couldn’t believe it. It’s bad enough that nobody greeted me when I came in, but what’s worse is I came in with hope of getting help finding a job and left feeling disappointed and on my own.This happened 2pm, April 4th.

Shane works till 430 every day. He finally gets a day off early so we hop in our car to go drop off our 13 page app and 5 check stubs. Takes 2 minutes for them to take them all in my padt experience. Ive had them lose multiple documents with my social security number and my kids on them already. The chubby lady with black hair was locking the door, no joke, as i walk tp the door. Some worker stood their stairing at me as the black haired reception lady was walking away. I beat on the door and said can u ask her to come take these papers. Mind you they are all loose and no envelope. The receptionist walks back to the door. Unlocks it and tells me to dump all my paper work off in the drop box. I ask am i supposed to drop all these loose papers into the drop box plus all his check stubs with all our private info on them? Yep. She says it wont matter. Same witch that has "misplaced" over half a dozen documents.Shes standing there. Easily capable of taking my paper work so my childs coverage doesnt lapse before his major surgery. It would take her all of 5 steps to place it safely behind the desk. Does she? No. She basically has done her job long enough that she no longer sees us as people. Just paperwork. I dont know when i will be able to make it there again. And she could have taken our paerwork. She only kept repeating,"we close at 430" It was just turning 431 when she said this for the 5th time. I flash my phone to show that she must be following an imaginary time system as it was definitely before 430 when she came back to the door. She wouldnt even have a job if we didnt pay taxes. I obviously did not dump my documents into that over night rickety box. I wish people would stop taking positions in businesses where they must work with people who are either in need or in hard times or simply where they must service the public if they dont want to actually assist or help anyone. I really wish there were more compassionate and caring individuals working in that job center. I know ive spoken to one through the call center that does all she can and then some to help people...and in the same day spoke to a woman who literally tried to drag out all she could to ensure it took as long as possible to get my case straight...where the other got it done in minutes. All im saying is there are too many ppl who seem to hate their job in that building that are supposed to be there helping others become self sufficient while also struggling through difficult times.
