THIS IS ABOUT THE BATEMANS BAY BRANCH ONLY.We are moving from four hours away, and looked at a house on our one and only house hunting trip to the Bay two weeks ago. A week later we were told our application was approved. YAY!Our joy soon turned to grief when I rang up this morning to confirm our move/tenancy dates and pay the bond (I had been in contact with the Agent prior to this mind you). But this morning, I was told the house was gone.No phone call, no care shown, nothing. I have a job to start in Moruya and have to put my start date off because of this. I complained to the "lessee" who was flippant, tried to fob it off on the owner, and generally didn't seem to give a toss. "I'll look into it" she said. We'll see what that turns up.This is unscrupulous, unethical behaviour at its finest; L J Hooker Bateman's Bay need to get rid of the agent who caused this, or maybe lose their licence.THINK TWICE ABOUT RENTING THROUGH L J HOOKER BATEMANS BAY PEOPLE.
