Issues with payment and staff, teenagers in the office! We have lived in our residents for over 9 years and since PA water split the bill to sewage from LTS our rates have gone up and notices aren’t mailed! A bill was posted on my door this morning along with all my neighbors basically we had a balance assessment of $200 plus for something! What was never told to us! 48 hours was told we had to pay or would loose water they wouldn’t accept anything less then payment in full to keep the water on and no payments but cash or money order! Seems shady! Why is PA water who processes our waste water not billing us!

Like other reviews my troubles started when this service took over sewage for certain boros in the south hills area. They did the $1700 trick to us and we had to scrape together money to pay it or face not having water. A year ago a house on our street foreclosed, since then it has sat empty. Now they say because of that property EVERYONE on our street owes $290. Gave us a “48” hour notice on a Thursday morning? No one works there on Saturday/Sunday and service will be shutoff by Monday morning. So LESS THAN 24 hour notice. NO payment plans accepted! PA American Water did nothing to help but are more than willing to shut our water off if Legal Tax Service says so. THEY ARE PREDATORY and will find a way to screw you over because no one with power will stop them. And what’s worse is you have no choice if you want running water in your house.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This all started a month ago, our water was shut off for sewage payments being late. Some how we owed 1,700$, we were never called or notified about this, they said a posting was put on our door a month before the water being shut off. We never got that posting and was charged 75.00$ for that. So we were able to scrape up 1,500 dollars and paid it the same day the water was shut off. Now a month later there saying we owe them 900$ for lawer fees, because they were going to sew us for it. When I paid the 1,500$ nothing was said about that. I still don't know how our bill even got to 1,700$, normally if we owed 300$ they would shut it off. When I look back on the bill it says miscellaneous charges. This place is taking advantage of people, and putting people so far in the hole that you can never get out. I wonder if this same thing is happening to other people?

Not sending me my bill, not able to tell me how much i owe or when its due. Then charges a ton everyday its late. Its going on 5 months of calling and asking them to mail us our bill before it is due and still nothing.

worst customer service. they some time send hand written letters (which I cant read) on already used papers and they do not reply if you send them letters
