This "person" Baskin is a nightmare. Any choice other than this firm is the best choice. Our mother chose Baskin as a part of her estate planning before her death. This firm was nothing but a nightmare and VERY unprofessional. He would constantly call and email us only to charge us exhorbabnant fees for every correspondence. We lost in excess of $2,000 in these charges alone dealing with him. He is so rude and disrespectful that we just took the monetary loss and went with another attorney here in Ventura. This "human" is a disgrace as he is dealing with those filled with grief and vulnerability. STAY AWAY!

Mr Baskin, is an amazing man. Very educated, Awesome Attorney at Law. He is brutally honest. And will fight for you. He gives 150 percent in everything he does. I have had the pleasure to know and use Mr Baskin since 1984.

Having two young children, and a home, we knew that estate planning was important, but we had zero idea on how to get started, and were quite frankly nervous and uncomfortable talking about “worst case scenarios” with just anyone. We had no idea what we were doing. The staff at Baskin Law were incredible. From Robert, who is not only knowledgeable, but kind and compassionate, and didn’t take advantage of us not knowing much about estates. He provided factual information, sound advice, and explained everything step by step. He was funny, spoke highly of his staff and clients, and was easy to get along with. The office staff goes above and beyond. They were responsive to emails, calls- with thoughtfulness and honesty! It was always a pleasure to speak to them. Their notary was especially wonderful. Our boys are young, and when we brought them to the signing she gave them books, coloring tools, let them do thumbprint art, and told us to stop panicking when we were worried they were misbehaving. I even caught her wiping my older sons face when we were busy speaking to the attorney. As most parents know, serious meetings are hard with toddlers. How nice to know they care about their younger clients as well! Now that’s a family attorney office! We highly recommend them for estate/trust needs, and will be with them for what’s ever legal advice we need or want. They are the best! Thank you again! You are all amazing!

I needed help with my divorce and met with Charles McCutchan. He helped me understand what to expect and offered suggestions as to how to proceed. It all proved good information and I'm thankful. He is very professional as is the entire staff at the Law Office. It was my pleasure to have found such a knowledgeable and thorough attorney.

Awful. The reviews on here are most likely fake. You best check out the honest YELP reviews. This firm has a bunch of con artists working for them. The original fee we were quoted was nothing like they billed us in the end. Tons of incorrect billing that they refuse to correct. STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM! Extremely unprofessional
