This place gave me pure hell! To start Mr. Frazier was completely inappropriate during the interview. Very flirtatious, called me beautiful and asked me if I had a boyfriend. Please note that although they help connect you to jobs they take a significant portion of your check for 3 months. It was highway robbery. They are hotheads and unprofessional. I turned my timesheet in an hour late once or twice and instead of honoring our contract which stated I would get paid on the next pay cycle Mr. Frazier threatened to fire me for it. Which is not a contracted consequence. The salary Mr. Frazier told me I would make was not accurate. The salary was 3-8 thousand less than what he told me I would get. After making friends with coworkers they disclosed their experiences and salary. I was shocked they were making more. I asked him why and he threatened to fire me again and said it was confidential information I was disclosing. However I was not disclosing our confidential agreement, only collecting information. The Director finally called him and let him have it, telling him to stop threatening me. Towards the end of my employment with them I was in a car accident while on the job. I sustained a neck injury that required a neck brace for some time. I went to the ER and had a significant bill. I did not have benefits yet and the only way to pay for it was through the agency's insurance. I placed ONE call to Mr. Frazier to inform him of the issue. He did not want to report the car accident! I told him he legally had to report the accident then he threatened me AGAIN saying he was going to call the police for harrassment if I ever called him again! Needless to say he finally reported it and the insurance took care of everything and more. Thank God the Insurance agency was professional. Charise was ok to deal with. I don't know how on Gods green earth she can tolerate Mr. Frazier. I consider that the 13th wonder of the world.If your desperate, I'd understand why you would use LA Recruitment. I still recommend that you try to get employed on your own. Agencies need people all the time. Reach out to agencies on your own and see if you have any luck. Otherwise I hope you have a better experience than I had. I hope that this helps at least one other person. Happy hunting!
