Richard Johnson has assisted me with solving employment issues with my former employer. Through the whole process, I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. Richard was always available to provide a legal advice, listened to my concerns and suggested the best course of action. It all worked and I was able to reach a satisfactory conclusion. Whenever anyone is let go, dismissed, terminated, or fired they are immediately thrown into a situation that can be confusing, emotional and from a legal viewpoint....entirely unknown territory. I was dismissed "without cause" after providing my services to the same company for 29 years. I had no clue that it was coming. Kent Employment Law (Erin Brandt) were able to put together a very convincing case against my previous employer which I was completely satisfied with. When I was first notified of my dismissal I just wanted to leave that company behind me and move forward...accepting whatever they had to offer. I can't say enough good things about how Erin Brandt and Kent Employment Law guided me through such a very difficult and nerve racking process which had the positive ending I was hoping for. I received a referral from a co-worker. I first met with a partner and then was given the option of having Geoff Mason, an associate who could perform the work at a lower rate. He would still, of course have access to the partner's expertise. I know that this is common in law firms. A claim was filed and it was settled well before trial. Geoff dealt with my case in a professional manner. He negotiated a fair settlement for me and resolved my case expeditiously.

You get what you pay for! - Richard Johnson and the team at Kent were great from beginning to end. The consultation fee was a pittance compared to the tangible and intangible value they collectively bring to the table. As a client they provided a solid buffer against opposing council, managing the process, keeping me informed in a timely fashion and providing guidance where things could get unfavorably tangled. I was originally referred them and another firm by HR professionals who've been around for decades - glad I went with Kent. It wasn't a decision based on money, it was a decision based on whom I felt was competent and could carry this to the end with our best interests in mind. Solid 5-star review.
