In my work as the Executive Director of a Non-Profit Society serving the region of Vancouver Island I worked with Jim and Cori to formalize all procedure and policy related to human resource management. It was of the utmost importance to our society that the culture and philosophies of our organization were clear in all documentation. It was also important that the same documentation could support high turnover due to the project nature of our work.4 years later we have made only minor changes and updates, the work remains completely relevant and new staff and volunteers are always excited by their introduction to our culture through our employee handbooks.
