We have used Alan for about 10 years now. In that time we have been self employed, full time students, full time employed with side income and moved out of state (twice). He was right by our side both times we got audited (no findings either time). Alan is great at what he does, we don't even live remotely close to him anymore and I still send him out info and rely on him for advice. You could not pick a better CPA!

I went to Alan because of the previous reviews that I had read online. We are new to this area, so we were looking for someone close that we could really count on. My initial impression was over the phone and it was not a good one. Whoever answered the phone was extremely unprofessional. I was hoping that wasn't the CPA that would be doing our taxes. Turns out, it wasn't. I was able to get an appointment for the next day, so that was nice, but once I got there, I felt that it was the most unprofessional office I had ever been in. I LOVE animals, especially dogs, but feel an accounting office is NOT the place for them. They have two (sweet) dogs that are free to roam the entire office. There was hardly any professionalism in the office. There were young men walking around in workout attire, I assume his children or grandchildren? Finally to Alan - He seemed like a nice guy, but didn't seem to be too personable. He was not too friendly and didnt take the time to actually listen to us. He would ask a question, maybe trying to start small talk, but we could tell he was not even listening to what we had to say. He was, in fact, quick to get all of our paperwork completed and his rates are very reasonable compared to what we've paid in the past with H&R Block.I don't think that I would recommend this firm.

Very, very reasonably priced. Great place to go for insight if you're starting your own buisness. I went to him as we were getting off the ground and he steered us in the right directions and got us going and we've been with him ever since. Wouldn't go any where else!
