I was misled by the Johnson Service Group (JSG), and created a deceptive relationship with a prospective employer and myself that led to my dismissal with less than three weeks on the job. On May 22nd, 2018, I started my employment as a Western Regional Sales Manager for Nordfab LLC, a client of JSG. This was after six months and nine interviews; as well as a series of personality and aptitude tests, drug tests and criminal background check. When I was finally made an offer by Nordfab I asked my recruitment “professional” at JSG why it took so long and he said it was because they wanted to fill the Director of Sales position before they hired the RSM for the Western Region. This was a blatantly lie. It was explained to me later that the reason it took so long is that Nordfab’s executive managers were not convinced I was the “right fit” for this position. If I would have known that then I wouldn’t have accepted this offer and stayed with my former employer. I quit my successful sales manager job with a staffing company located in Colorado to pursue this industrial sales position because of the supposed upward potential of their performance based compensation. The JSG recruiter wanted to fill this position regardless of whether or not it was good fit for either party. This false career opportunity narrative created by JSG led to my fraudulent employment and consequential termination. JSG’s lack of insight into their client’s corporate culture and aggressive negligence to hiring candidates recklessly greatly imperiled my livelihood, and placed my family in financial danger. I highly recommend that anyone considering working with JSG be very careful, and approach them cautiously. They are horribly unethical and are only interested in throwing warm bodies at their clients’ feeding frenzy of expendable candidates. I was treated terribly and they took away my dignity, as well as my means of employment. I’ve never encountered such dishonorable organization and I hope I never will again.
