I struggled keep employment for years due to some health issues. But I didn't want to succumb to ODSP Or welfare. That's not the life I wanted. So I walked into Job zone and started working with them. They placed me on a subsidiary work program with Dulux paint store. After my subsidiary was over Dulux hired me on. It's been 4 years since then. And I absolutely love my job. And my job absolutely loves me. Because of Job zone I was able to be placed somewhere that my health was understood. Where I wouldn't be penalized if I was having a bad day. I was give an opportunity to work instead of living only on government aid. Programs like this mean the world to people like me. People who want to work. But have limitations. They provided me with all the right resources to stay employed. So hat off to Job Zone. You are the real hero's!
