Dont do your taxes here. My taxes were done by Rocio. I received letter from state and fedral taxes for an amendment and when I tried to speak her to see what I needed to do there we no response from her no response over phone or email. I got a response from someone else I ask to speak with manager or owner and they told me that they could give me his number but that i wouldnt get help from him because he was to busy. Ended up fixing everything on my own because they are not helpful. Received an appt with someone until I told I was filing a complaint with the IRS and it wasnt a helpful appointment.

don't trust these bogus reviews. You will be wasting your time and energy getting your taxes done here. The so-called manager of this place "micky" whoever is absolutely disrespectful, and inconsiderate for your time. There is always an issue with their office either with appointments, equipements, overbooking, late appointments, over charges. I had to come to this over six times and still did not get to do my taxes and every time there is an empty excuse and apology. These high star reviews you see is by their friends that is all. Do yourself a favor and compare their tax refund fees and you will soon realize his office has over charged you.

JMU Tax and Financial Services: 5196 Dawes Ave. Alexandria, VA 22311 I had a more complicated tax situation this year after selling one property and buying another. I called about 10 different local tax services and eventually decided on JMU. They answered all of my questions patiently and charged me a reasonable rate. They got me more back than Turbotax! Honest and professional team.

Just thought I should write about my experience with JMU for all my taxes and accounting needs so that other people can benefit from it. I have been going to JMU for my tax filing work since 2011. One of my coworkers advised me to see Niraj Aryal, and I was very pleased and impressed with his professionalism, integrity, knowledge and helpfulness since my first visit. He always makes sure his customers are getting the maximum benefits/deductions possible, yet he still makes sure there is full compliance with tax rules and regulations. He also takes care of all the accounting, payroll, taxes and compliance related work of my business since 2013. What a relief to have found someone to whom I have full confidence on all my tax and accounting needs. I have referred many of my friends to Niraj, and everyone has been very happy with his services. Because of my work nature, I find it hard to go see him during regular business hours, but he has been so kind to take me in during late evenings, which is another plus point for busy people like me. Keep up the good work Niraj!

I come from NY every year to get have my taxes done by JMU. I have never come across such an environment and such great people. Mickey is OUTSTANDING. They truly take the time to help you and educate you. I was referred by a 30 year old client and I have brought in a couple referrals myself who have nothing but good to say about JMU and Mickey.
