One thing I would change is their communication, or lack there of. Ex. If changes are made in how payroll is calculated, the owner should be notified by the firm

If you are looking for an accounting firm that prioritizes its clients’ best interests, values accountability, and takes ownership when mistakes occur, I would encourage you to do your research carefully before making a decision. Carrie and her team served as my accountant for more than eight years. During the last year of our relationship, I paid approximately $1,100 per month through a membership program that was automatically deducted from my account. This membership was represented as including numerous services; however, I later discovered that some of those services were either not being provided or were difficult to justify at the value assigned to them. When I requested an itemized breakdown, the pricing of individual services appeared inconsistent with what I had previously paid before joining the membership program.
