Let me just me just make a few things very clear about this company. Yes from the outside it seems beautiful! Nice decor friendly people and it even has its own cafe! Sounds great right? Well working environment aside there are still a few things you should consider before working here. The parking is a nightmare. The parking lot is reserved for important people and employees who have been here a while. If your a newer employee or not that important you get stuck in a parking lot down the road called “the red lot”. Now see the problem with this is it doesn’t matter if you get here on time or even early because the shuttle you use to go from this horrible parking lot to the actual building in which you work takes about 10-15 mins. Lately it’s been taking over 20 mins because there are so many people jammed into this lot. Imagine that over 20 mins to get into a building while YOUR ALREADY AT WORK. They consider this “your commute”. So imagine spending almost 3 hours a week of Your time , and by your time I mean the time it takes when your actually at work to get to your desk and from the time you get off work to your car. Almost a 3 hour commute per week that is of no fault of yours and should NOT be your problem. You will suffer this every week and guess what?! The higher ups don’t care and do you want to know why they don’t care? Because they are in the actual parking lot connected to the building. It takes them 5 mins TOPS to get to their desk. Your boss doesn’t have to wait 30-45 mins a day going to and from their car when your already at work. Nope just YOU the worthless employee who works your butt off. It’s almost unreal. It’s crazy. Then they tell you oh well hopefully the other parking lot will open soon and your supposed to just suck it up and waste 3 hours of your life in an additional commute when it’s already takes you so long to get to work in the first place. And did you want to go to lunch? Ahhahahhah good luck this place does clock ins and clock outs you can only get to-go food. By the time you get to your car and back you only have about 30 mins to drive and go get something and come back. So they expect you to use their cafeteria and upcharge everything so they can give you a discount and make it seem like your getting a deal. Really 2.25 for a bottle of coke?! You need to realize the company is making money this way off of your back they are making it impossible for you to go to lunch so they can make a profit off of the food you HAVE to buy here because you don’t have TIME to go anywhere else. And because we are on a clock in and clock out system all of the traffic caused by this company, their parking lot their shuttles becomes your responsibility. Your responsible and considered late even if you came 20 mins early. I’ve never worked at a company like this. If your not considered important it’s really like your SOL. By the way if you think about it that’s 3 hours of unpaid time per week they are screwing you out of.
