Iowa Select Farms is the biggest pork producer in Iowa and has recently submitted applications for 19 new hog confinements in 9 counties in northcentral Iowa. This will add another 90,000 hogs and 36.7 million gallons of manure per year to the state and add to the pollution of the 754 currently impaired waterways in the state. The dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico is bigger than it has ever been, due to anti-environmental agricultural practices. A large percentage of hogs grown in the US are for Chinese markets and many of them are even owned by Chinese companies. It's time for a moratorium, not expansion.

Everyone in the company are amazing and great at what they do. I learned a lot from my peers and for that I will always be great full. Also to Wendy for giving me the the opportunity to be part of a great team, but it all went shreds when Dana Spree and Kerry Sweeney were hire it was I became a toxic environment, no leadership, no management and training skills. They treat you like your not worth anything and they don't care that you have family problems or what you are going through. Company is great just those two are monsters can't believe they were hire in the first place I say bad hiring from ISF.

Iowa Select Farms provides no veterinary care for their livestock, which means their pigs suffer and die from open wounds, prolapsed uterus, complications from improper castration, etc. Sick and injured pigs are not killed humanely, and thus many pigs endure slow agonizing deaths.Boycott all stores which use Iowa Select Farm as a supplier. Petition your U.S. state representative in Washington D.C. to tighten up food animal welfare laws and appeal state laws which make whistle blowing on factory farms a felony.Animal abuse is not profitable, it is unnecessary, and it is unlawful.
