What a nightmare. Seriously unethical things going on here....I cancelled my account back in January. At the time I was due a credit of roughly $120. The response to my cancellation was to ask if I wanted to be transferred to another rep? I told them no, I just wanted to cancel and I wanted my credit that was due. So they acknowledged that I canceled the account, however, continue to bill me, and pile on late fees and monthly fees, even though I never received my credit and I CANCELLED the account. I belong to 2 other barter Networks that so far (it's been 3 years) have been pretty great. I don't want to mention names, as I don't want anyone to think I work for them but I will say, I don't pay "any" monthly fees with them and I haven't had any of the ridiculous billing issues etc . that I had with IMS and even after cancelling still have them. I will probably have more to add soon as I am sending over my last communication with them today.

After signing up with IMS Barter we did receive a few new clients who found us through the directory, that part was great. The reason for my 2 star review is because of my experience with the brokers. The broker I initially worked with never responded to my emails and the only time I heard from her was when she would call me every few months to ask me to go to the expo. I asked to switch brokers. After a few conversations with the new broker, I was very optimistic! He responded promptly to my emails. Then nothing. No more emails. Not sure what happened. It has been 3 months since I have heard from IMS (except receiving the automated bills.) But I suspect I will hear from someone soon to invite me to the next expo. Very disappointed.**I changed my review from 2 star to 4 star. After the 2 review,I was contacted and informed there was a miscommunication during the transfer to our new broker. After the new broker was assigned again, everything has been great. He is the best!! Working with him actually makes my job easier. I will say not all members of IMS trade equally. For example, some members charge 50% on trade and 50% cash. That part is frustrating since our company trades 100%. Overall IMS is a good company though!

I wish I could write a positive review of IMS. This is my first ever negative review of a company. This company is a waste of time and money, literally. They sent $2000 of value in trade money due to us to the wrong address. It was an old address and we never received the package. UPS confirmed delivery to the old address. I tried to track it down and it was no where to be found. When i approached IMS they said the trade money was as good as cash and they had no way to stop payment or provide a refund. They sent $2000 due to us to the wrong address and had no insurance to cover the loss, no way of tracking their trade dollars, and zero customer service to help find it or provide a refund! $2000 gone! Thanks IMS.
