Been waiting since early February to get a job as a firewatch and still haven’t been sent out to austal. I have been getting calls asking if I’m still interested and that they are putting me on a list to work and get ready for a call and then they never called. Why hire a bunch of people only to never get them work? Why call the people you hired saying they put you on a list to work and they will call you and then never do? I know I’m not the only one sick of this. It also been like 3 months since they’ve hired me and nothing has come of it. Hka needs to get its stuff together and realize we are real people and if they wanna be seen as professional , take our need for jobs seriously and follow through with what they say.
