My Mom has been cared for at Halina's since April, 2011. We have found the owners to be considerate, thoughtful and responsible people who work effectively and with a caring attitude, with our family. My Mom's current caregiver, Ceasar, has been an excellent person to work with. He takes very good care of our Mom and coordinates her care and ensures a quality of living that gives us peace of mind. He emails pictures of Mom with other residents and keeps us up to date on her daily living. When health challenges have come up, everyone at Halina's, particularly Ceasar, have responded with urgency and efficiency. Mom enjoys seeing Zoe, a therapy dog that visits plus the art class and exercise group. Halina's owners are always open to considering new experiences for their residents. The house is always neat and clean, and the atmosphere is uplifting and pleasant. Families feel comfortable spending as much time as they want with their loved ones. Ceasar keeps the pace going, and always has a smile for everyone. I would recommend Halina's to any family that is looking for a family-based alternative to nursing homes or excessively priced assisted living choices.
