I have known Steve since he first founded GRS in Cyprus as a candidate and later as a client for my current employer Thomson Reuters/Refinitiv. In both cases, his team and himself have been in personal contact, always responsive with urgency and professional. GRS is always ahead of all other recruitment companies in Cyprus and that's for a reason.

So I am a Russian citizen and a Cypriot as my parents paid for my citizenship. I don't know why but the staff was very racist to me because I am not from here. I complained as apparently other people have and Steve just told me he won't and doesn't want to do business with me because I am a foreigner with no rights in this country and I should 'go home because no one wants me here because I will destroy the economy like my comrades in Russian' is what he said to me and so did the other recruiters.

I noticed that the recruiters were unable to update me ever on the client. I also noticed that the recruiters are racist against me being half Cypriot and half American. They often make fun of me and then when I complained the founder Steve said he would not represent me because "I was from the 'ape nation.'"
