Rude an don't answer the phone, only have them for Medicaid. An i will say don't call them an waste your time not getting a answer. Call ohio Medicaid they know the answers to your questions an are polite and better yet they answer the phone

I don't even know why this place has a phone number. They always transfer you to someone's voicemail. That person never calls back. Then when you go in for a question you see 3 ladies just sitting at desks. I've called in while waiting in line to see if their phones ring...they don't.No return call with 5 messages left on different days at different times caused my paperwork to expire. This is ongoing the 4th month of no response. I had to resubmit last month and guess what is happening again...

I've filed two packets for medical. It's been 2 month or more and I haven't received a call- back or even a letter stating one way or the other if I've been approved or disapproved for medical. I'm tired of answering machines. Let me talk with someone who actually cares and knows their job.

I understand that their job must be extremely difficult, especially dealing with irate people and the number of people. But no one ever picks up the phone or responds to general voicemail. There is one employee that constantly loses paperwork I turn in directly to the office, and I am glad I kept the receipts to provide that it was turned in. I also am told I need one form by one employee and that I don't need it by another employee. There is no consistency, and I am often worried that their inconsistency is causing my benefits to be dropped throughout the year....which does happen.

Apart from a few decent employees I have come across, this agency is lacking the very principle for which they exist to serve - Human Services. Their people need proper training and education in Human Services. They really make things more difficult that it needs to be for people who are seeking assistance.

Absolutely horrible with communication. I leave messages after messages to transfers that go directly to vmail. No one EVER calls back. EVER! I even try to reach them during work on my breaks but still no answers!!! Even when I asked for a “warm transfer” from the receptionist to ensure I got someone, she refused!!! I only get $25 a month in food stamps. I need every penny. I have no children and I’m not on drugs and was told via email that green county doesn’t invest in single family homes with those circumstances. I am beyond depressed that I have to rely on such a horrendous, unprofessional, careless group of people to receive help...who no doubt have a higher food budget of $25.

ONLY GIVING 5 STARS BECAUSE OF MR. ROBY. I made 3 calls up there in the course of two hours and was cut off mid sentence by reception, sent to 3 different caseworkers voicemail and MR. ROBY was the last one I left a voicemail for and he called me back within 10 minutes. THANK GOD FOR HIM. I had a deadline and not one person could answer a question for me, and he answered every question, was completely calm, polite and helpful. And so friendly. I had been calling the week before, and could not get calls back.(I am on disability and cant drive to get to the office.) Greene county needs to get it together, and hire more people like Mr. Roby.
