Registered with them a couple of years ago. Only lasted about 5 days with 2 assignments at that time due to what they call "performance issues". First assignment was my mistake since I didnt feel okay halfway due to lack of sleep as it was night shift. Biggest problem is most of the potential job opportunities were outside Toronto and I relied on TTC as I dont have a drivers license let alone a car. Haven't had contact with them since.

Great Connections is a ripoff. Workers beware!I registered with GC at the North York office and they have never assigned me any work.I paid $25 cash for the police record check and $7 cash for the GC ID Photo Badge. They never gave me receipts for these.When I diligently followed up to find out when the work they hired me for would begin, they ignored me. After enough phone calls someone finally told me that the job I applied for is handled by someone at the Scarborough office. So when I called the Scarborough office, the person there said that she had never received anything about me from the North York office and that there was nothing she could do. I asked why the North York office had taken my money then? She said, I don't know and hung up. I still haven't received my money back.

They are efficient, they don't string you along. If your a good candidate with skills they work hard to find you jobs... I did mostly contracts, if you want experience they can get you into places for that... Other agency sign you up & never find you anything.. I was very happy with my deals & I had the best staff helping me!
