It's an OK place if you go there to do your thing. Otherwise, if you don't have patience for stupidity( which is very common, even among some staff), if you want your stuff to be secure, or if your use to people doing their job, then this place is not for you. Staff will write you up without knowing your situation. It has happened to me several times. If you get 5 write ups, you are terminated from the program. If a staff decides to take something from your locker, they can. Without any repercussions. There are multiple cases of stolen money, but are obviously kept on the low. I am a model student here. I will have completed 2 trades in one year (one of the trades were suppose to take about a year), I work full time, I have no behavior misconduct, but this is not the easiest place to get use to. It's an extremely easy program. I would say the worst part about here are the incompetent staff.

Grafton job corps it's a great places for student who really want to change their lives, it maybe tough but hard work can be the key. I been there I spent about a year or more in the center and it was somehow hard and somehow sweet but after all I graduated had all the education that I needed and start working right after as a medical assistant and learning should not stop for anyone I am in college now doing my public health degree and premed so I hope that would make people believe that if you need fresh start there's many places to go to and Grafton job corps one of them.

As a staff member who was employed there years ago, I would have to say that the issues I had were not with the students but with the staff. I enjoyed helping the students even though some were challenging, but that was to be expected. I did enjoy working with a few staff members, however, there were a select few that were actually trying to set me up to get fired. What I should have done was file a discrimination case against a female dorm supervisor, Miss Sydney, but I left due to not wanting to go through the drama. I hope she is no longer there, and as for me...I will never return.

It took me two years before I completed but I'm happy I got a trade I didn't show up for graduation but I happy I got my trade deploma thank Jesus for jobcorps

This is a Great place in my prospective I came here to get a certification for medical assistant & to get my permit and licenses and I must say my experience here had its ups and downs. I do enjoy being a Non Resident then being a Resident mainly due to that it suits me better then living on campus. I would recommend this program oh yes and did I forget to mention a free education yes I said free . If you need your high school diploma there's education here as well as trades. And they help you get your permit & your license and the staff here do a good job teaching you the skills you need.
