In what way does it seem acceptable to contact someone at their direct work line, ask them if they are interested in another job, and if thet know of anyone else looking for a job? I have never heard of GPAC before but got the most embarrassing phone call in front of my peers and project managers this week. They said they contacted me because of my work experience on Linked-In; my account is not set to actively looking for offers. Even if it was, that is what Linked-In is for! Ridiculous to put someone in that situation and completely unprofessional.

Seth P at gpac was gnarly good to work with. This kid knew everything about the construction industry but at the same time he couldn't build his daughter a playpen from home depot. Needless to say he was a wizard behind the computer. Anyway, this kid placed me in a job that almost doubled my salary and I moved to a management position within 2 months simply because Seth P was the most savvy job recruiter in existence. I even told my boys about him because of the elevation in pay and Seth P is currently working on getting the crew some more cheddar. I would recommend Seth to anyone who is looking for a new job or is even the slightest bit unhappy with their current situation. Stellar work ethic and a good dude.
