The lack of care in this “care” facility will make you nauseous! My husband walked in to visit his father and his Dad was on the floor with his call light blinking while the staff was right outside his room chatting about food. I wouldn’t let them watch a stuffed animal of ours! If you could leave ZERO stars, that would be our choice. Disgusting! The place should be shut down and the staff should work at a McDonalds!!!

my mother in law is left all alone with no nursing staff in the hallway and she was chewing on the stick of a lollipop which she apparently just ate. had she begun to choke no one was in sight to help her.

Everytime I go there to visit my grandmother she's left alone in the hallway. Today, she had a lollipop and was chewing on the stick. if she choked there was nobody there to help her. The staff honestly don't seem like they give a damn.

Wonderful staff, engaging daily activities. My mother thinks that she is part of the staff! I felt awful placing her in a memory care unit, come to find out my mom considers this her new home, and she is happy, safe and well taken care of.

My father was placed for a fractured hip, he came in normal, and passed away just three days after he left the rehab. He was constantly in pain, he had diaper on, and his dirty diaper would be left on for over few hours, I was in tears when I saw that. This place is understaffed, their two physical and occupational therapist were friendly and helpful, but other staffs, yeah, they need to be fired......if u have money, and able to spend it, PLEASE send your love to a better rehab place, this place is disgusting.

Because of the ratings I see online, I think that Academy Manor should be closed up and torn down
