The company was helpful at first, but my mother passed away Feb. 14th they expected me to work not only the day of her funeral but also a few days prior even after I informed them of my mother's passing. I even brought in her obituary to the job I was assigned by fam care.Since then I've asked for a separation notice multiple times and have been given the run around about the paperwork. I am now in jeopardy of losing my housing because they have refused to respond to fax/calls about the separation notice I have requested numerous times now.

When I initially started at Gem Care as a sourcing specialist I wasn't sure if it was something that was going to be a good fit for me long term. Now that I am here, I love the work I do and the people I work with. Leadership is competent, the opportunity for growth is significant and the pay is competitive. Hopefully, Gem Care keeps up the good work. I certainly plan on it!

WOW!!! What a great Company to have when you are in need of a job. With the times today and Big Companies only hiring through staffing companies, THIS staffing company GEM Care is the one you need to go see and get a job. The staff at GEM Care is really professional but at the same time care about their employees and make sure "You are i the know" of everything down to coming on-site to make sure you arrived and greet you with any questions you may have the first day. This company is COMPANY is great! If you are looking for a job, I highly recommend GEM Care. 5 STARS!!!

Very nice people to deal with, they like you to work hard.... And even harder to get a paycheck on time. Was lied to by a couple recruiters at one location, made to starve a whole weekend while I bet they got paid... Second week in a row getting run around about paycheck, after waiting Al day Friday. Corporate claim they can overnight it...People seem nice enough there also...Assigmnemt at local mfg plant was great... Folks there great as well. Hate it for them because gem can't get their heads out of their asses about consistently getting hard working people paid.. .Gem lacks integrity... .Shame on you.

I originally applied for a gravity cast position because I heard they get a swing shift. My recruiter told me that if I went full-time gemcare employee instead of letting AISIN hire me in she could put me in quality control and I'll start out a dollar more per hour and in a months time that the whole plant was switching to swing shift. She even called the plant to "confirm" this. After a month I realized that nobody was switching to swing shift except the position I originally applied for. I was also told in 90 days that I would get holiday pay, vacation time and start earning paid time off. As soon as I hit 90 days they told me it was a mistake on their part and that I don't get paid time off until 6 months, I don't get vacation time until 1 year of work and I don't get holiday pay at all. At that point I was hired onto gemcare full-time and they told me that there was no possible way that I could be transferred to the position I originally applied for because as a full-time gemcare employee I have to stay inside the quality circle even though they misinformed me since the beginning. Worked there 5 months 12/7 for $11.25/h, no PTO, no vacation, no holiday pay, and no double time while everyone else there made at least $13/h and got all of that and benefits.AISIN is a great place to work but don't waste your time going through gemcare when you can easily go through express or get hired by the company themselves.
